You are so right about the Open School. Our daughter was so turned off to the regular school system by the time she was in 5th grade we decided to enroll her in the Open School (with fingers crossed). She went on to graduate from the Open High. She completed college with high honors and is now in England working as a systems analyst in an IT department of an international company. Education does not and should not happen only in a traditional school setting.
